Recession continues: local mattress company forced to close factory, retail stores; 45 jobs lost

Lemoyne Sleeper is closing its factory and its three company-owned stores, including one here. Shutting its doors locally will be the 834 Plaza Boulevard store, opposite Park City Center. Also closing are its Lemoyne and Lebanon locations, a company spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday.

In total, the idling of the factory and stores will result in the loss of about 45 jobs.
